Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the free browser tools and the paid filing services offered by AmberVouch.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. Who we are
AmberVouch (“we”, “us”) operates ambervouch.com. You can reach us at service@ambervouch.com.
2. Free browser tools
Our free tools are provided as-is. Processing happens locally in your browser; you are responsible for keeping a copy of your files and for checking the output before you rely on it. We may change or retire a tool at any time.
3. Paid filing services
We offer optional filing and evidence services, including:
- WIPO PROOF — we submit a fingerprint of your work to WIPO PROOF and return the token to you.
- U.S. Copyright Office — where you instruct us, we act as your filing agent and submit the application and deposit copy you provide.
4. Agency scope
Agency scope. When we act as your agent for a filing, we only transmit the information and files you give us, pay the applicable government fee on your behalf, and relay the receipt or registration outcome. We do not:
- give legal advice or decide whether your work is eligible for protection;
- guarantee that a registry will accept an application or that a registration will have a particular legal effect;
- review your ownership of the work or resolve disputes with third parties.
5. Fees, refunds and government fees
Our service fee is shown before you pay. If we have not yet submitted your filing, you may request a refund of our service fee. Once a filing has been submitted, the service fee is non-refundable because the work has been performed. Government fees and third-party registry fees are paid to the registry and are non-refundable even if the registry rejects the application.
6. Not legal advice
The information on this site and in our messages is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. For advice about your rights, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who processes it, and your rights.
8. Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a paid order is limited to the service fee you paid for that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
